New Bedford Police say the four suspects arrested this morning for an armed home invasion knew their victim.

According to Detective Captain Steve Vicente, the suspects forced their way into an apartment in the 1600 block of Acushnet Avenue, and pointed a gun at the victim while they took his laptop and two cell phones. The victim was not harmed.

Police were able to track the culprits to 1671 Acushnet Avenue, just several houses away from the scene of the crime. Police obtained a search warrant and raided the house. The victim's property was recovered.

Also found were a 9 mm Glock with a 15 round magazine, a 9 mm Sig Sauer with a 20 round magazine, and a .45 caliber Smith and Wesson Revolver with the serial numbers obliterated. Approximately 40 rounds of ammunition was also recovered along with a small amount of cocaine packaged for retail sale.

Kevin Hill age 31 of 1671 Acushnet Ave. apt 2

Jomone Lloyd age 40 of 1671 Acushnet Ave. apt. 2

Brittany Gomes age 19 of 1671 Acushnet Ave. apt.2

Tyrone Lee Johnson age 18 of 77 Thomas St.

They all face charges of armed home invasion, armed robbery, illegal possession of firearms, and drug charges.
