Former Veteran’s Agent To Be Buried Monday

Funeral services for former New Bedford Veterans Agent Donald DePina have been set.

DePina will be buried on Monday at the Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne, following a 9am funeral service at the Saunders Dwyer Home for Funerals at 495 Park Street in New Bedford.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2-6pm.

DePina was a Vietnam veteran.

The 66 year old DePina was found a week ago on the ground at Brooklawn Park , suffering from a gunshot wound. He died a short time later at St. Luke's Hospital.

Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with the homicide.
