In full disclosure, former Ohio Republican Congressman Bob Ney is a very close and valued friend.

Bob is a frequent guest on WBSM as a Talk Radio News Service correspondent. In the last few days, Bob has been seen on network TV talking about his new book, "SIDESWIPED: Lessons Learned Courtesy of the Hit Men of Capitol Hill," a Changing Lives Press publication, that tells it like it is (and was)!

Having served 18 months in prison on felony corruption charges for his participation in the infamous Jack Abramoff lobbying scandal, Bob Ney's memoirs reveal the unsavory details of who sideswiped him and why. In his fourth year of sobriety, Ney describes the Washington addiction to money-raising and paints Speaker of the House John Boehner as a double-crosser, heavy drinker, smoker and womanizer who is obsessed with fundraising.

For sure, this book is a page turner, and to borrow a phrase attributed to the New York State Democrats of 1830, it's one great "barnburner!"
