Flower Show Brings Spring To New England

It's the winter that just wont end, and it was a welcome break to visit the New England Flower Show in Boston this weekend.  Spring was in full bloom as area nursery's and landscape designers showed their stuff.  The show had many displays that showed off design ideas that people were able to get ideas for their own yards and maybe hire some of these talented designers to do the work.  There were many displays that had the wow factor, my personal favorite was the display put on by the Newport Flower Show group.  It was

a dazzling display of miniature flowers and trees surrounding train tracks.  The trains were used to show the history of Newport and the families who made it famous.  The show also had many booths with artisans selling their wares,

everything from custom made sprinklers to hand made tiles and anything floral you could imagine.  The show definitely left us wanting spring to arrive as soon as possible.
