Florida Man Arrested For New Bedford Break-in

A Melbourne, Florida man is facing charges following a break-in in New Bedford Wednesday night.

Detective Captain Steven Vicente says that at approximately 9 p.m. an officer was dispatched to Crystal Ice 178 Front St. after a burglar alarm went off.

Upon arrival the officer was able to determine that a break had occurred.

During a search of the building the officer discovered the suspect, identified as 41-year-old Timothy Quinn, rummaging through a room.

Quinn was arrested without incident and arraigned in New Bedford District Court Thursday morning on charges of Breaking and entering in the nighttime and Malicious destruction of property.
