The library at UMass Dartmouth will be closed over the next few days, after rainwater made it's way in through the roof Wednesday.

About two inches of rain was dropped on the campus, some of that rain seeping in through the roof of the library, where ongoing work to renovate the building was taking place. Water entered the library's fifth floor, and then dripped down to the fourth.

Library workers immediately moved books and evacuated the building to prevent further damage. The library will be closed until Monday, as clean up and assessment of the library takes place.
