The attorney of Fall River Mayor Will Flanagan says his client has done nothing wrong during a brief news conference Friday.

Kevin Reddington is representing Flanagan amid accusations of the Mayor threatening a City Councilor with a handgun last month.

Reddington says City Councilor Jasiel Correia has based his accusations on political motives and should step down.

Reddington also revealed the Mayor passed a polygraph test. Flanagan says the results prove he has honestly served his constituents.

Flanagan is also facing a recall campaign that is gaining city-wide support. Members of the campaign cite the Mayor's mismanagement of the city as a reason for him to leave office.

Flanagan says he has no intention of resigning.
