Five Wareham residents have been arrested for warrants issued for failing to make court appearances regarding various criminal charges.

Wareham Police Chief Kevin D. Walsh says 29-year-old Steven L. Fernandes had a warrant from New Bedford District Court for Larceny Over $250.

41-year-old Kathleen Clancy had warrants from Falmouth District Court for Larceny From a Building and Larceny from a Person Over 60 Years of Age.

34-year-old John Alan Moore III had a warrant out of Wareham District Court for Assault & Battery.

39-year-old Michael Medeiros had a Wareham District Court warrant for Larceny From a Person.

29-year-old Steven T. Parker had five default warrants out of Plymouth District Court for Operating After Suspension (2) Possession Class A, B, E Drugs, Trespassing, and Speeding.

The arrests were carried out by Wareham Police Department detectives, patrol officers, and troopers assigned to the Mass. State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section.

The suspects were scheduled to be arraigned Friday at Wareham District Court.
