A fire destroyed a trailer early Tuesday morning at the Redwing Mobile Park in Wareham.

According to Wareham VillageSoup.com, “firefighters responded to the blaze a 2:20 a.m. Tuesday morning. The fire was reported all out at 7:40 a.m.”

The trailer, located at 2900 Cranberry Hwy, was reported to be a total loss. Wareham Fire Department stated that the vacant trailer suffered heavy fire damage with a roof that caved in.

This is the second fire at the mobile home park since January. The first fire at 42 Hector Street caused $75,000 worth of damage to a mobile home.

The fire on early Tuesday morning still remains under investigation by the Wareham Fire Department, the Wareham Police Department, and the State Fire Marshal.
