A fire at the Lakeville Country Club on Friday destroyed two large equipment sheds.

The fire broke out around 10am, and Fire Chief Daniel Hopkins told WBSM News, flames were coming through the roof when firefighters arrived.

No injuries were reported, but the sheds and their contents were destroyed.

Chief Hopkins says one shed contained lawn mowers and workshop tools. The other housed more than 50 golf carts.

The Country Club, located on Clear Pond Road, was closed for the winter season. Hopkins says the fire does not appear to be suspicious, but the cause remains under investigation.
