According to Herald News of Fall RiverJurassic Jungle experienced a scuffle that left three victims hospitalized on Friday, March 4th. The fight started at the pet store on East Main street after an argument about "proper reptile care techniques" got out of hand. 30-year-old Allen Weeks and his 27-year-old brother, James Dugan-Weeks, were arrested and "charged with several accounts of assault, as well as battery and kidnapping."

Dugan-Weeks started choking one of the victims when the argument got heated. Two people went into the store to break up the fight, but it only left the store to spill into the street. "One alleged victim told Fall River police Officer Matthew Gauvin that the defendants were kicking him in the face after choking him to the point of unconsciousness, and that he thought he was going to die, telling Gauvin, “I didn’t think I was going to make it out of that store alive,” according to court documents." Police also reported that one of the victims was a woman. "One alleged victim, a 34-year-old woman, said that she was thrown to the ground, and that Weeks approached and spat in her face, with his blood being mixed with his saliva, according to court documents."

WBSM contacted Jurassic Jungle on the matter and they stated that "those individuals involved were on the premises after hours without the consent or permission of the owner and had no lawful purpose for being there. We will continue to focus on our patrons and running a family friendly shop and provide a safe environment for all."

"Weeks and Dugan-Weeks were arraigned Monday in Fall River District Court. They will return to court Thursday for a dangerousness hearing."
