Fifties Night 2017 in Downtown New Bedford

If you were a kid in the 50's, you probably remember your mom getting free glassware in DUZ powdered detergent, collecting S&H Green Stamps, and watching Sky King and Old Yeller. Well guys, put a little dab of Brylcreem in your hair, if you have any left, and ladies, brush your teeth with Ipana and come join us for Joe Jesus' Fifties Night in downtown New Bedford, Thursday, July 20, starting at 5 pm.

It's like taking a trip down memory lane, with hundreds of gorgeous antique cars, live music, dancers in poodle dresses and everyone from babies to baby boomers mingling in the center of town, having a leisurely, free evening of socializing!

Morning "talk jock" Phil Paleologos will be giving out free prizes, plus WBSM staff will gladly download 1420's free app to your iPhone! Then you can listen anywhere with just a touch of your finger, just as if you had a transistor radio in your phone! Keep your 'peashooters' and 'slingshots' at home, please.
