FBI agents continue to scour parts of Dartmouth, apparently in search of more evidence linked to the Boston Marathon Bombings.

U.S. Attorney's office this morning alerts residents to the ongoing searches in various parts of town, but assures there is no threat to public safety.

The searches come after three men were arrested earlier this week, for allegedly covering up and disposing of evidence left behind by Dzokhar Tsarnaev in his UMass Dartmouth dorm room.

Federal agents spent several days combing through the Crapo Hill Landfill on the Dartmouth-New Bedford border, and recovered a backpack stuffed with emptied fireworks, which had been thrown into a dumpster by Tsarnaev's friends after they cleared out his dorm room.

A laptop was also turned over to authorities.
