On Friday the streets of New Bedford were flooded with FBI presence, and three residents were detained in connection with the Boston Marathon Bombings. They have since been released.

Update Monday 2:08 pm - ABC 6 in Providence says that the two men who were arrested Saturday, were also arrested on Friday night. Three people were arrested on Friday in New Bedford in connection with suspected Marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. It is unclear of there connection to Tsarnaev. The two men were arrested by immigration.

According to Southcoast Today, the two men that were detained in New Bedford on Saturday, were with the three people taken into custody on Friday evening at the Hidden Brook Apartments.

An FBI spokesperson says they cannot provide any further information as to why the two men were were taken into custody by police, or if it is tied to the apartment in question.

The three people arrested Friday night were believed to be roommates of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a student at UMass Dartmouth.
