Nearly $10,000 and several bags of cocaine are netted, and two men are arrested after New Bedford Police raid an apartment.

Detective Captain Steve Vicente tells WBSM News officers carried out a search warrant at 600 Cottage street Monday evening, and found $9,967 in cash and four bags of cocaine in the apartment.

Police arrested 64-year-old Carlos Lopez and his son, 35-year-old Carlos Baptista, both of 157 Hunter Street. They are both charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Lopez faces an additional charge of a subsequent offense of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. He was convicted of dealing cocaine in 1996.
