Associated Press - A father of two who authorities say was brutally beaten during an unprovoked attack at a Quincy bar last week has died from his injuries after his family decided to take him off life support.

The Norfolk District Attorney's Office said 42-year-old Keith Boudreau of Quincy died Friday, 11 days after the attack at the Home Ice Sports Bar.

Another Quincy man, 42-year-old Paul Fahey, has pleaded not guilty to assault charges related to the attack and is being held without bail. Prosecutors plan to charge Fahey with murder Monday.

Police said Fahey knocked Boudreau unconscious with a punch, then stomped on his head.

Boudreau's family said in a statement that Boudreau was a kind and loving father of two boys, ages 15 and 8, and he wouldn't hurt anyone.
