A New Bedford man and his son have been indicted for the July shooting death of 31 year old Julio Barboza in the city's South End.  According to the District Attorney's Office, the indictment returned Friday charges 20 year old Darius Gamboa of Wareham, and his father, 38 year old Ryan Gamboa with murder.  Julio Barboza was found dead outside a 7-11 convienence store on Cove Road on the evening of July 6.  Police say Barboza was attempting to run away from the older Gamboa when Darius allegedly shot him in the back. Barboza was pronounced dead at St. Lukes Hospital.  The D-A's office says the Gamboa's will be arraigned in Superior Court sometime in October, once the court sets a date.
