Family Dollar Stores says it will be cutting jobs and shutting down hundreds of struggling stores. The convenience store chain says it plans to shutter about 370 of its stores after second-quarter net sales fell more than six-percent. Family Dollar says the job cuts and store closures should save operating costs by about 40-million dollars annually starting in the third quarter of this fiscal year.

There's been no information from the Company about the specific locations to be closed.
