Fall River Suspect On State Police Most Wanted List

A man being sought by Fall River Police for child molestation and child pornography charges has been added by the Massachusetts State Police to their most wanted list.

John Munroe, 75, allegedly assaulted a 10-year-old girl numerous times over the past summer and he is also accused taking pornographic photographs of the child.

Munroe was arrested in September on charges of rape of a child with force, aggravated rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, enticement of a child under 16, exhibiting a child in a nude or lascivious pose, and possession of child pornography.

He was placed on court-ordered gps monitoring device while awaiting trial but removed the device and fled on, or around, Oct. 23.

Munroe's vehicle was later found in Hull but he remains at large.

Munroe is described as a white man approximately 5'10" tall and weighing approximately 250 lbs.

He has gray hair, blue eyes and a light complexion with a tattoo on his right forearm depicting a dog's head with a collar; the dog is green and is growling.

In the past Munroe has also worn glasses and a mustache.
