Fall River school officials are investigating how two kindergartners from the Fonseca School walked out of school in the middle of the day.

Keri Lafleur, whose daughter, Alivia, and a friend left unnoticed Wednesday, says she is extremely furious and that she along with school officials were searching lockers everywhere and didn't know if the youngsters were in the school or off the property.

A family friend finally found the girls, unharmed, walking a few blocks from school about an hour after the search began. Alivia's mother said she was scared because neither of the girls were wearing their jackets.
