Fall River Stabbing Suspect Surrenders

A man wanted for a stabbing in Fall River last weekend has turned himself in.

Twenty-two year old Patrick Theriault was wanted for the stabbing of another man Saturday night at Ship's Cove Apartments on Canal Street.

The 37-year-old victim suffered critical injuries and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.

Fall River Police say their manhunt ended Thursday afternoon when  Theriault surrendered to the Freetown Police Department.

Theriault is facing charges of assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing substantial injury.
