Gulf Electricity recently put up a billboard on Interstate 195 in Fall River that showed a leg wearing stockings and a Stiletto heal shoe turning on a light switch with the caption “are we turning you on yet?”

The sign has generated a lot of controversy with community leaders such as the Reverend Susan H. Lee, Ph.D. of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Fall River.

Reverend Lee, who also serves on the Bristol County Commission on the Status of Women, tells WBSM's Brian Thomas that it is inappropriate to display that sort of content in such a public place.

Lee recently penned an op-ed in the Herald News, with fellow commission member Jean Fox, calling for Gulf Electricity to take the billboard down.
