The cab driver pointed out the man to responding officers and they took him into custody.

During the arrest one of the officers recognized the suspect as a man being sought for the Wednesday afternoon robbery of the Rockland Trust Bank located at 855 Brayton Ave.

A female teller at the bank told police that a white male in his early 30’s with a slim build and wearing a t-shirt, short hair, with a speech impediment approached her station demanding cash.
