Fall River Police Arrest One, Seek One in String of Robberies

Fall River Police have arrested a man in connection with a string of area robberies in which a syringe was used as the weapon of choice.

According to the Standard Times, 29-year-old Daniel Cabral of Somerset was arrested today at the Stafford Apartments on Joseph Street in Fall River, for several robberies in which he allegedly armed himself with a hypodermic needle he claimed was infected with HIV. Cabral is accused of holding up an insurance company and a hair salon earlier this month.

Police are now searching for an accomplice, 25-year-old Logan Bence of Elm Street in Somerset. Bence has been added to the Fall River Police Department's Top Ten Most Wanted List.
