FALL RIVER — Fall River Police have added another alleged criminal to their Most Wanted list, but have also announced the capture of two other suspects added to the list earlier this week.

Police say 48-year-old Claudio Gomes is wanted in connection to a sexual assault investigation, led by Detective Luis Vertentes of the Fall River Police Department Major Crimes Division. The charges include indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over; indecent exposure; and annoying or accosting another person.

Gomes is said to also use the last names Lopes and Rocha, and will also use both with hyphenation. His last known address was 100 Green Street, Apartment 518 in Fall River.

 

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Vertentes at (508) 324-2796, or the Anonymous Tips Line at (508) 672-TIPS.

Fall River Police also say two men added to its Most Wanted list earlier this week have both been captured. Both 29-year-old Roger Earl Langlais and 39-year-old Kevin J. Doyle were wanted for rape, kidnapping, intimidating a witness, and assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).

Doyle was located on Tuesday, and Langlais was captured in Bangor, Maine on Thursday. Major Crimes Division detectives are arranging for his extradition back to Massachusetts.
