Fall River Man Struck by Car in Dartmouth

A Fall River man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Dartmouth early Saturday morning. 

Dartmouth Police and other emergency personnel responded to the area of 491 Reed Rd at approximately 12:20 a.m., according to the Dartmouth Police Department's Facebook page.

The victim has been identified as Matthew Roderiques, 24, of Fall River. He was transported by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital.

An unidentified 36-year-old Fall River woman operating the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica that struck Roderiques is not facing any charges at this time.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dartmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit, Dartmouth detectives, and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.
