Fall River Man Found Dead After Monday Night Shooting

Fall River Police, State Police, and prosecutors with the Bristol County District Attorney's Office are investigating a murder in the city.

The DA's office says the murder took place last night around 9:30pm. At that time, police responded to reports of shots fired at 129 Plain Street. When first responders arrived, they found a male victim on the landing of the first floor.

The victim, 29-year-old Jerrod Cohen of 129 Plain Street, was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronouned dead late last night.

The investigation is extremely active and ongoing.
