If you are looking to dive into the holiday spirit, your chance is just a small drive away! November 21st marks the annual opening of the Fall River Historical Society's Deck the Halls! Open House.

The Society pulls out all the stops and decorates their grand mansion from top to bottom in Victorian-Era decor from the period including a number of themed trees. The display is just as lavish as the displays you'd see at the Newport Mansions!

Experience the splendor of a Victorian Christmas past in our grand mansion, lavishly decked out in holiday finery in period style and featuring a series of dazzling themed trees. Showcased on TV shows, in Victorian Homes magazine, and on the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism web site, Deck the Halls! is truly unique in the Southcoast region.

The society is open daily, Monday - Friday from 9am until 4:30pm; Saturday and Sundays from 1pm - 5pm through December 30th.  Admission is free and donations are encouraged to support the Fall River Historical Society's mission of preserving our local history and bringing culture events to the community.

Here's a sneak peak of this year's display- but you'll have to visit to see them all!
