I had never heard of a wet parade before, but this event sounds like so much fun!

The Fairhaven Firefighters Muster is bringing back their annual Wet Parade and Fire Muster on Sunday, August 26.

The parade is kicking off at 11 a.m. from the Tractor Supply plaza and then heads down Washington Street, turning right down Main Street, then right on down into Livesey Park.

And all along the way you've got the fire trucks, sirens going and, of course, water!

The wet parade means water will be everywhere. Hoses, water guns and water balloons galore...getting kids and adults all wet on a hot summer day.

Sounds awesome!

And after the parade, the muster starts at 1 p.m. in the park.

There will be food and drinks available, as well as t-shirts and other apparel for sale. Plus, kids can enjoy a bounce house and face painting.

It's an all ages, FREE event that certainly sounds like fun for the whole family.

So if watching a parade while getting soaking wet sounds like a fun summer day for you and your kids, head to Fairhaven this August for the Wet Parade and Fire Muster.
