Fairhaven Police are looking for a man they say robbed a woman of a money bag.

The incident took place just before 10am Tuesday morning, when police received a report from a woman who claimed a man robbed her as she was on her way to the bank.

The victim says she was walking near the Alden Road entrance to the Shaw's Supermarket Plaza with a money bag from her place of employment, when a man claiming to have a knife demanded the money. The woman turned over the money with the suspect taking off on foot towards the K-Mart Plaza.

The suspect is described as an unshaven white male in his 30s, with short brown hair, wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
