Fairhaven Police arrested two teen agers in connection with a robbery on February 2nd at the Friendly Farm Convenience store on Sconticut Neck Road. Police used some old fashioned police work as they followed the suspects footprints in the snow to a Day Street address where they found the 2, 19 year old suspects wearing sneakers that matched the footprints in the snow. Taken into custody were Jared Spangler of Summer Street and Tyler Smith of Tyler's Way, both of Fairhaven. They were charged with vandalism and breaking and entering in the nightime. The pair are accused of using a concrete block to smash the glass front door and steal champagne and cigarettes.
