Fairhaven Police have arrested a Rochester man and charged him with stealing eight handguns and ammunition from a Howland Street home.

Police say the break-in happened on September 12th.  Twenty-two year old David Norman was arrested on the 15th, but police say none of the weapons were found.

According to Sgt. Kevin Kobza, one of the handguns has now been recovered, but the rest remain unaccounted for, including a 45 caliber semi-automatic handgun and a Luger 9 millimeter.

Norman is facing eight counts of larceny of a firearm, breaking and entering and vandalism.  At his araignment, Norman was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
