DARTMOUTH—A joint investigation by the Dartmouth Police Department, the Barnstable Police and the Bristol County Sheriff's Office has led to the arrest of a Fairhaven man for trafficking in Fentanyl and other drug charges.

At approximately 5 p.m. Thursday, members of law enforcement executed a search warrant on Room 127 of the Capri Motel on State Road in Dartmouth. As a result, Dartmouth Police arrested 43-year-old Jose Sanches of Fairhaven on a previous warrant for trafficking in more than 10 grams of Fentanyl.

While inside the room, detectives found 18 grams of Fentanyl, a digital scale and packaging materials, as well as Suboxone strips and Alprazolam.

In addition to the arrest warrant, Saches was also charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl more than 10 grams, Possession of a Class B Drug (Suboxone), and Possession of Class E Drug (Alprazolam).
