DARTMOUTH — After responding to calls of a medical emergency on Friday morning, Dartmouth Police arrested a Fairhaven man on drug charges.

At approximately 11:10 a.m., officers from the Dartmouth Police Department responded to reports of a medical emergency occurring at 36 Lakeside Avenue.

While at the scene, a corresponding investigation led to the discovery of 2.6 grams of suspected Fentanyl on 34-year-old Ryan Doucette, of 106 Main Street in Fairhaven.

In addition to a non-related narcotics offense, Doucette was charged with distribution of a Class B drug and possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug. David Oikarinen served as the arresting officer during the situation.
