Fairhaven ‘Jesus’ Visits WBSM [VIDEO]

Kristen Pacheco/Townsquare Media

It’s the second coming….kind of.

A man dressed in the likeness of Jesus Christ was spotted again in Fairhaven Friday, after making an initial appearance Wednesday in front of Fairhaven High School on Route 6.

The man behind the beard and the crown of thorns is Malvin “Mel” Larsen, from Fairhaven. Larsen stopped by WBSM’s studios Friday afternoon, and says he wants people to talk with him.

Mel says he was called to serve in the ministry at a very young age, claiming to have met Jesus several times.

He says while his story may sound unbelievable, he assured listeners he’s not crazy.
