Fairhaven Has Improved MCAS Test Scores

Southcoast school districts performed well on the recent MCAS exams. One of the districts that showed overall gains in their math and english scores was the Fairhaven School District. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Robert Baldwin gives all the credit to the teachers and staff.

According to the State's data, southcoast districts that had students tested in the 10th grade saw proficiency rates for the english test increase whle five districts including Dartmouth, New Bedford, Wareham and the Global Learning Charter school had their math scores stay relatively flat.
