F-15 Jets To Fly Over Eastern Mass On Thursday

Five F-15 fighter jets will fly over Eastern Massachusetts at low altitude on Thursday morning as part of a media event coordinated through the FAA.

The jets will depart Westfield Air National Guard Air Base just after 8am, and travel over landmarks such as the State House, Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium.

The aircraft will also fly over Southeastern Massachusetts.  They're scheduled to fly over Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard, starting at around 8:30am.

The aircraft will fly at 5,000 feet over our area, but will fly at 1,000 feet altitude over Greater Boston
