Older adults who walk and do basic exercises on a daily basis are less likely to become physically disabled.  Scientists at Tufts University say elderly people who increase their activity levels just a little bit stand a much better chance of avoiding a disability.

Experts are calling the Tufts study very promising, especially since one out of four people over the age of 75 cannot walk a quarter of a mile.
