Gull Island is beautiful this time of year! It's actually more like a sand bar along the Elizabeth Island chain between Penikese Island and Cuttyhunk. It's alluring because it's one of the favorite stopovers for adorable harbor, grey and harp seals, and you'll have a chance to view these graceful sea creatures on a one-of-a-kind seal cruise sponsored by the famous Lloyd Center.

Environment education specialist Jasmine Smith-Gillen will present interesting commentary and you'll most likely catch sight of wintering water-birds on two seal cruises Saturday, March 5 and Saturday, March 19, 10 am to 2:30 pm.

You'll lunch on Cuttyhunk, climb up to Cuttyhunk's lookout and gain a new appreciation for Buzzard's Bay. Be sure to dress warmly in layers, bring binoculars, cameras and hiking shoes. Space is limited to only 30 per trip, so don't delay. The cost is very reasonable at $43 for members and $45 for non-members and only $20 for children. Reservation deadlines are March 3rd at 4 pm and March 17 at 4 pm.

To register call the Lloyd Center at 508-558-2918 or visit lloydcenter.org. Jasmine Smith-Gillen can be reached at jasmine@lloydcenter.org or by calling her at 508-990-0505 extension 13.
