Lisa’s Fund – Second Charitable Event

A group of Lisa Birknes Tavares' closest friends and colleagues cordially invite you to join them for a Lisa's Fund event to help Lisa continue her battle with Lymphoma.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. with crudites. The gourmet buffet will follow and will include a garden salad; seasonal vegetable medley; rice pilaf; Tuscan chicken with sauteed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and assorted herbs; roasted pork loin in its natural juices; and seafood scampi, scallops and shrimp tossed with penne pasta in a garlic white wine sauce. The meal will end with coffee or tea and a gourmet brownie sundae.
There will also be a wide variety of raffle items available, including:
- A huge array of restaurant gift certificates from area eateries
- Spring planting starter kit with plant, pot and much more
- A discount toward a professional photo sitting or photographs
- Assorted theme gift baskets from children's games to cordials and chocolates
- Eat on us then play at the Newport Grand slots
- A round of gold for four
- An annual membership to the YMCA
Finally, in addition to the food and prizes, there will be great entertainment including two well known DJs, Gene Daniels and City Lights. Collectively they have both been in the DJ business for more than 50 years. Gene and Donny (City Lights) play music from the 1940s to today's top 40.
