During the first meet and greet on March 3, 2015, the Southeast group created a plan for future events and plans to meet every other month.
On May 12, we'll focus on our first priority by bringing in people who currently work in the professional fields who members are interested in learning about.
At this event, each speaker will have 5 minutes to address the audience regarding who they are and some steps they've taken in their career path. Speakers will be available for further conversation during the rest of the event.
Upcoming focus for future southeast events include: Speakers of former foster youth who are now successful and a workshop on wage and salary negotiation.
