U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, who announced his resignation Thursday, made a stop at the UMass School of Law in Dartmouth early last year.

He was invited by law school Dean Mary Lu Bilek, who was impressed by the message the Attorney General delivered to her students.

Bilek says she believes Holder did his job with great integrity, especially when he visited Ferguson, Missouri, following the shooting of Michael Brown.

President Obama praised Holder on Thursday saying he made his mark in a wide range of areas, from civil rights and financial fraud to fighting organized crime.
