UMass Dartmouth will be the scene of a U.S. Senate forum Thursday. The campus will welcome Democratic Nomiinee for  Senate Elizabeth Warren to discuss the issues relevant to the Southcoast. The discussion was originally slated as a debate between Warren and incumbent U.S. Senator Scott Brown, but while Brown declined the invitation from the Southcoast Alliance, Warren agreed to participate.

Brown's campaign staff said the Senator has already committed to more debates than any seated senator in the history of Massachusetts.  Thursday's forum will be held in the grand reading room of the Claire T. Carney Library. The discussion gets underway at 4:30 pm.
