Eight ‘Known’ Individuals Arrested in New Bedford’s South End

NEW BEDFORD - Eight people are arrested for trespassing Thursday evening.

New Bedford Police say the eight people, all of them New Bedford men, were gathered on the property of Northstar Learning Center on Rivet Street in the South End shortly after 5 P.M., causing a disturbance. Police arrested all eight individuals and charged them with trespassing.

Police say the eight men are well known to the New Bedford Police Department's Gang Unit.

Arrested were:

• Edmilson Gomes, 20, of 58 Bedford Street, New Bedford
• Pedro Evora, 23, of 39 Tallman Street, New Bedford
• Raheem Gomes, 21, of 68 Nash Road, New Bedford
• Elton Ramos, 22, of 107 Cove Street, New Bedford
• Alex Garcia, 23, of 596 So. Second Street, New Bedford
• Anilton Lopes Costa, 22, of 1627 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford
• Marco Trinidad, 24, of 24 Lombard Street, New Bedford
• Samuel Santana, 35 Larch Street, New Bedford
