EgyptAir is confirming that debris found by the Egyptian military is from missing Flight 804.

The airline made the announcement on Twitter and offered condolences to the families of the 66 people who were onboard.

The military reported that passengers' belongings had been found.

The Airbus A320 disappeared from radar en route from Paris to Cairo before dawn yesterday.

The wreckage was spotted in the Mediterranean Sea about 180 miles north of the coastal city of Alexandria, Egypt.
