East Wareham Woman Admits to Drinking and Driving After Crash

WAREHAM - An East Wareham woman who crashed her truck on Monday night admitted to police that she had been drinking.

Raymie Jean Farrell, 44, was arreested after hitting a tree on Barker Road in Wareham.

When officers responded to a call of property damage, they found Farrell leaning against her truck, and noticed branches in the tailgate. That's when police say she admitted to an officer that she had been drinking.

After being given field sobriety tests, Farrell was placed under arrest for OUI liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. She was then taken to Wareham Police Headquarters and processed for a pending arraignment in Wareham District Court.
