Dustin Pedroia Doesn’t Think Bobby Valentine Should Be Fired

Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine is having a tough year. Reports came out that many players wanted Valentine fired, but Dustin Pedroia says differently.

After rumors of players meeting with Red Sox ownership about wanted Babby Valentine fired, Dustin Pedroia is setting the record straight. Despite getting off to a rocky start with the new skipper, Pedroia says that he doesn't want him to be fired.

Bobby Valentine doesn't seem to have the confidence of his players, but ownership is behind him. He'll at least be on Boston through the end of this season. Pedroia and Valentine seem to be getting along now, but no telling how long the honeymoon will last.
