School Supt. Dr. Pia Durkin is reaching out to students and parents, looking to gain support for the turnaround plan for New Bedford High School.

The plan includes replacing 29% of the school's teachers and staff members.

Durkin told the School Committee, she'll be meeting Tuesday morning with a Student Advisory Group to get their reaction.  She also has two meetings scheduled with parents.....

The parent meetings are scheduled for February 27th at 2:30pm, and March 3rd at 6pm in the High School's Family Engagement Center.

In other business, the School Committee appointed teacher Kim Marshall as the interim Principal at Rodman School.
