Dunkin’ Wants To Change Tip Law
Dunkin' Donuts wants to let more of its employees share in the tip jar. Under a state law passed ten years ago, managers can't take a cut of tips in fast food restaurants. But in places like Dunkin', managers are low wage workers and also man the counters. The move to change the law is opposed by union leaders, who say fast food restaurants should simply pay their managers a living wage.
