Dunkin Donuts Robbery In South Dartmouth

Dartmouth Police are looking for a suspect in last week's robbery of the Dunkin Donuts at 550 Russells Mills Road in South Dartmouth.

Detective Kyle Costa says that at around 8:30 p.m. Monday a man pushed a store employee, grabbed the money drawer, and then fled in a vehicle.

The area was searched extensively but the suspect wasn't found.

Costa says the same man robbed a liquor store in New Bedford 20 minutes later.

The suspect is described as a white male 6 feet tall with a rugged build. A red bandana was covering his face and he was wearing blue jeans, a knitted hat, white sneakers, purple rubber gloves, and a dark colored long sleeve t-shirt with flames on the sleeves and the word "Laconia" on the back.

The incident remains under investigation.
